Join Us in the Fight Against Breast Cancer

The Golf Challenge- Edition 2008 was held April 28th at the Shawnee Golf Course located in downtown Louisville.

Our outing of 2008 was a huge success in a number of ways:

Our charity fund, which contained all proceeds generated by the outing totaled $13,000.00.  This amount was forwarded to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, New York, New York.

A number of participants and guests expressed interest in becoming involved with our upcoming outing of 2009. Some wanted to become sponsors or donate items for our raffles while others expressed interest in joining our team to help organize and implement the 2009 event.

Again, the entire Shawnee team reinforced our believes we have selected the correct home for our outing.

Shawnee Golf Course is centrally located within our target area.

The course staff is extremely efficient in the logistics the day of and preceding our event.

Mr. Heibert, the course pro, and his staff are a pleasure to work with.

Shawnee is an excellent course for a scramble.

And again this year, the banquet meal was very good.

We're locked in to April 25, 2009. The weekend before The Kentucky Derby.

Someday, hopefully soon, this disease will be eliminated and relegated to our memories. With your help, conceivably we can make this day just one day sooner.
